In addition to this most central bank regulators have opted to issue their regulations based upon fintech activity rather than entity-based regulations (Mexico being the exception).<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/0894F46B-8774-43C4-9FF8-8B63C1119C81#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Grey areas do exist too. One example being Chile, where crowdfunding was not regulated at the time of publishing the article.<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/0894F46B-8774-43C4-9FF8-8B63C1119C81#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a> However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hacienda.cl\/noticias-y-eventos\/noticias\/ministerio-de-hacienda-anuncia-el-ingreso-del-proyecto-de-ley-de-innovacion\">on 3 September this year<\/a>, the Chilean government sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmfchile.cl\/portal\/principal\/613\/articles-46983_doc_pdf.pdf\">draft law on Fintech<\/a> to its congress. It regulates, among other things, crowdfunding, alternative transaction systems, cryptoassets, and credit and investment advisory services. The bill shows that Fintech regulation in Latin America is still in the midst of development in order to deal with new business models.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bolivia was not part of this regulatory survey.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, what happens in Bolivia?
